Kate brings over 13 years experience in civil and commercial disputes and as a drafter of primary and secondary legislation in the Cayman Islands and Australia. Kate has a broad range of Cayman litigation experience including in property law, cross-border litigation involving financial services, fraud and asset tracing, regulatory law, and employment disputes.

Prior to joining Broadhurst, Kate worked for the Portfolio of Legal Affairs in the Cayman Islands Government, drafting legislation in a variety of areas including financial services, anti-money laundering, environment, and government administration, and advising on matters of statutory interpretation.

In Australia, Kate worked for a leading international law firm, specialising in employment law and workplace safety litigation.

  • Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, 2011
