Broadhurst LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Benjamin Booker, Richard Parrish, and Tiziana Romano to Partner.
These promotions reflect continued growth across the firm’s core practice areas and recognise the significant contribution each individual has made to its development. Furthermore, they strengthen the firm’s ability to advise both Cayman Islands and international clients across an increasingly broad range of matters.
“I am delighted to join the partnership at Broadhurst LLC and look forward to continuing to support the firm’s clients across a broad range of complex corporate and commercial matters. The firm has built a strong reputation for providing practical, commercially focused advice, and I am excited to contribute to its continued growth.”
Ben Booker joined Broadhurst LLC in January 2025 and advises local and international Cayman Islands corporate entities, multinational corporate groups, private clients and families on a broad range of transactional and advisory matters.
His practice includes corporate structuring, restructuring, governance, acquisition, commercial finance and capital markets transactions. Ben acts for a diverse client base, ranging from private clients and entrepreneurial stakeholders to liquidators, investment groups, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.
Although Ben prefers not to publicise specific transactions or matters he is involved in, he is increasingly called upon to advise some of the most highly regarded multinational corporate groups and ultra-high-net-worth family offices.
“I am honoured to be joining the partnership at Broadhurst LLC and grateful for the support and mentorship I have received from my colleagues. Since joining the firm in 2020, I have had the opportunity to work on a broad range of challenging and rewarding disputes, and I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s litigation practice.”
Richard Parrish joined Broadhurst LLC in 2020, having relocated to the Cayman Islands from Australia the previous year. He began his legal career in 2012 at a national law firm in Melbourne before moving to the Cayman Islands as a Senior Associate.
Richard advises both international and local clients across a broad range of contentious matters, including complex commercial disputes, insolvency proceedings, shareholder and corporate disputes, trust-related matters, contractual claims, joint venture disputes and sanctions related advice. He is known for his strategic and practical approach to dispute resolution and regularly guides clients through litigation, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Reflecting on his time at the firm, Richard credits Broadhurst LLC’s collegiate culture, collaborative environment and the mentorship he has received from Kyle Broadhurst and senior colleagues as important influences on his professional development. Alongside his client work, he has also played an active role in mentoring junior lawyers and supporting the continued development of the firm’s position in the local marketplace.
One of Richard’s proudest achievements has been building a broad litigation practice in the Cayman Islands while developing strong relationships with both established market participants and emerging professionals both in Cayman and overseas.
“Throughout my career, I have been passionate about advocating for injured individuals and helping clients navigate some of the most difficult periods of their lives. At Broadhurst LLC, we are proud to provide meaningful access to justice while continuing to build a practice grounded in strong advocacy, compassion, and trusted relationships within the community.”
Tiziana Romano joined Broadhurst LLC in 2021 following the enactment of the Private Funding of Legal Services Act in the Cayman Islands. She was given the opportunity to lead and further develop the firm’s personal injury division, Recover, during a significant period of change within the Cayman Islands legal landscape.
Called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, Tiziana has more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation, focusing extensively on personal injury and insurance law. Prior to relocating to Grand Cayman, she practised at a leading personal injury boutique in Toronto, where she developed significant experience handling complex injury claims, insurance disputes, occupiers’ liability matters and medical negligence cases.
Her practice includes catastrophic injury claims, chronic pain and traumatic brain injury cases, product liability claims, employer negligence matters, insurance disputes and complex long-term disability litigation.
Since joining Broadhurst LLC, Tiziana has focused on expanding Recover into an established and active personal injury practice while advocating for injured clients across a broad range of complex claims. She has also played a key role in increasing access to legal representation for individuals who may otherwise have been unable to pursue claims following serious injuries or disputes with insurers and large institutions.
One of Tiziana’s proudest achievements has been leading and expanding Broadhurst LLC’s personal injury division, Recover, while securing meaningful outcomes for clients in medically and legally complex catastrophic injury and insurance matters.
Leadership Perspective
These appointments reinforce Broadhurst LLC’s commitment to delivering high-quality legal services while continuing to grow its presence across key practice areas.
Managing Partner Kyle Broadhurst added: “Our new Partner promotions are testament to the significant contributions Ben, Rich, and Tiz have each made to our clients and our practice. They are all highly respected within their fields and will play an important role in the firm’s future development.”
The firm remains focused on providing commercially practical, client-focused advice across both domestic and cross-border matters.
